Postdocs in Cancer Molecular Imaging
We have immediate openings available for 3-4 new trainees, to participate in multidisciplinary research under the supervision of two complementary mentors, in molecular imaging of cancer. Trainees also participate in coursework, clinical tutorials/ethics training, quarterly research dinners, seminars, and preparation of a mock grant. The program is open to candidates with either PhD or MD degrees, who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents. The Training Committee will begin reviewing applications in October. Up to three years of support is available to trainees. This support may be used for postdoctoral salary, supplies, and travel (and may be supplemented by mentors according to relevant policies). We are particularly interested in recruiting trainees who are underrepresented minorities or come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. SOMI is supported by the NIH/NCI under the R25T mechanism. Further information and application instructions are available at the SOMI website, click here to acess. Positions will remain open until filled.
